It has been sympathetically restored retaining a wealth of character features, and providing light and spacious, well furnished accommodation. On the ground floor there is an enormous living room with both east and west facing windows, large, stone working fireplace which burns metre long logs, has under floor electric heating, two 3 seater sofas, dining table and seating for 8. Separate dining room, also with dining table and 6 chairs. Farmhouse style kitchen has an electric hob and oven, microwave and fridge, a large dresser, open shelves and butchers block table. The first floor is approached via the tower which has its original wide, stone, spiral staircase. On this floor there are two double bedrooms, one with twin singles and a washbasin and the other with a double four poster bed. Bathroom with bath, wash basin and wc. The grenier on the second floor, a loft conversion, provides accommodation for 2 in single beds, plus a shower room with twin wash basins and wc. Lawned garden to the front of the manoir with garden furniture and BBQ, there are two bikes available and a table tennis table housed in one of the barns. Washing machine provided. The owners, who spend a lot of time away from the property, do retain accommodation in the grounds for their occasional use, but it is completely self contained with its own entrance. The towns of LESSAY, PERIERS, COUTANCES and SAINT LO are all between 10 and 20 minutes away. Swimming pools at Coutances and St Lo, ice skating rink at Coutances. Many sandy beaches closeby all along the west coast and the D Day Landing Beaches on the east coast. Possible to go to Jersey by ferry from Carteret during the summer season and all year round from St Malo. Prices below are for four people in 2 bedrooms.
