Just 6kms from the cathedral town of Coutances with its good range of shops, supermarkets, restaurants, swimming pool and ice skating rink, and the beach at Hauteville sur Mer, this stone built, semi detached house is well situated on the edge of the village of Orval and less than 2kms from a bar, restaurant, boulangerie and butcher.

In the nearby seaside town of Agon Coutainville, 10 minutes by car, in addition to the sandy beach, it is also possible to go horse riding, play golf, visit the casino and eat in one of the many restaurants overlooking the beach.

During July and August in addition to the normal weekly markets, there are also Sunday morning markets in both Hauteville sur Mer and St Martin de Bréhal.

Large, spacious accommodation providing on the ground floor a fitted kitchen, well equipped with a gas cooker with 5 burner hob and two ovens, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, good range of cupboards, pine dresser, table and chairs.

The house is approached via an archway which leads into a large courtyard area and to the lawned garden. Door from the kitchen leads out to the courtyard area where there is garden furniture and a BBQ.

Many things to see and do in the area including the famous Abbey at Le Mont St Michel, the Bayeux Tapestry and the WWII D Day Landing Beaches. There are ferries to the Channel Islands and to the local Isles de Chaussey.

Many opportunities to play golf and tennis, windsurf, meander along the country lanes or along the coastal paths on foot or by bike.

Every type of cuisine is available from gourmet French restaurants to chinese to pizza houses. Shell fish is abundant along the coast.

The discreet owner lives in separate accommodation to the left side of the arch with his own entrance, parking area and garden.
