ACCOMMODATION On the ground floor there is a sitting room which has a sofa and chairs and, in addition to the satellite television, there is also a DVD player and hi fi system. The kitchen area is well equipped with breakfast bar and stools, gas cooker, fridge, washing machine and microwave. Also on the ground floor is a shower room with wc, basin and cubicle shower. From the living room there is an ornate original staircase which leads to the first floor and bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a double bed, built in wardrobe with a view to front of the house. Bedroom 2 has a set of bunk beds with a double bed at the bottom and a single at the top, built in wardrobe, window overlooking rear garden. Bedroom 3 also has a double bed, built in wardrobe, with a window overlooking rear garden. The garden at the rear of the house has an enclosed area of shingle with table and chairs, ideal for enjoying a glass of wine or dining outside. A BBQ can provided upon request. There are electric radiators in every room making this property an ideal choice for holidays throughout the year. Electricity, gas and water is included in the rent. Bed linen is available as an optional extra. The owner of this property also owns the house next door which he keeps as a holiday home for his own use. LOCATION Bordering on the towns of Quibou, Canisy, Carantilly and Marigny, DANGY is just 14kms south west of Saint Lo. The closest ferry ports and airports are just one hour away at Cherbourg and Caen, with Dieppe being a 2.5 to 3 hour drive. The drive from Calais and Boulogne takes approximately 4.5 to 5 hours. LOCAL ATTRACTIONS TENNIS COURT in the village. Dangy is on a cylcing route and there are good walks around the village. SWIMMING POOL in Saint Lo, and a heated pool in COUTANCES. Well known for its cathedral, Coutances also has an an ice skating rink, public gardens, cinema, theatre and weekly market. FISHING great lakes can be found at Torigni sur Vire, and on the outskirts of Saint Lo. Canoeing is also available in the nearby Conde sur Vire. BEACHES Beautiful sandy beaches can be found all along the west coast, the nearest being approximately 30 minutes away in Montmartin sur Mer. The D Day Normandy Landing Beaches to the east are also within a 30 minute drive. SAINT LO is less than 15 minutes away and in addition to its many shops, bars and restaurants, and swimming pool there is an equestrian centre and stud farm.
