Le Mont St Michel, the D Day Landing beaches and the Bayeux tapestry are all within a short drive. Accommodation There is a good sized DINING ROOM with a large open fireplace, dresser, oval shaped dining table and chairs. The KITCHEN leads off this room and provides a fridge, gas cooker, microwave, twin bowled sink and window overlooking garden. The SHOWER ROOM is also accessed via the dining room and has a shower cubicle, wash basin and wc. On the other side of the dining room there is BEDROOM 1 with bunk beds, and also the sitting room. Spacious room with a sofa bed which can also be used as a bed, and two chairs, TV for videos, plus a selection of video cassettes. Books and games also provided. Stairs from the sitting room lead to the first floor bedrooms. BEDROOM 2 has a double bed, chest of drawers, bedside tables, hanging rail and travel cot, window overlooking garden and swimming pool to the front of the house. Ensuite shower room with wash basin, shower and wc. BEDROOM 3 has two single beds, chest of drawers, hanging rail and velux window. This room can be accessed independently via the staircase, but for parents with young children there is the possibility of accessing the room via a sliding door from the main bedroom. Electric convector heaters provided. Outside Double opening gates lead into parking area and there is also a garage. The lawned garden and swimming pool are both accessed via steps from the hard standing area outside the house. Garden table and chairs, BBQ provided and kept in building next to house where there is also a washing machine. The Swimming Pool The swimming pool is 6 metres long, 3 metres wide and 1 metre deep, and comes complete with a ladder and security cover. The immediate area around the pool is paved, with lawned area extending from there. Well placed with hedges on three sides, the pool enjoys shelter from summer breezes. Good visibility of the pool from both the dining room and sitting room. Paved area outside the house, ideal for al fresco eating. There is also a further grassy area, not fenced, at the back of the house. The pool would be available for use from mid June until mid September, depending on weather conditions.
